This is a conversation between Ralph Allison and Charity, a Professor CIE.

Charity: Why do humans want to suffer more when all they have to do is follow ??? What is wrong with learning? That is what we are doing, correct?

Ralph: Yep. Well that is the way I have been able to define everything that appeared to go wrong for other people. As I said, if I learned by my mistakes, I should be a genius by this time. That is the way I have maintained my sanity when things get rugged. This is all a learning experience, I don't have to consider it a negative, because if I didn't go through it, I wouldn't have learned this.

Charity: Correct.

Ralph: So that has been my view of whatever I have been in, which you know what I have been in, so it has not destroyed me emotionally.

Charity: No.

Ralph: But then we have people like Dr. Gene who has gone through five years of misery without his devices. He hasn't seen that as a learning experience during that time.

Charity: No, he has been angry.

Ralph: He has been in a revenge need.

Charity: Which he will be in until he decides to ??

Ralph: He has been through the same bitter experience that I went through for my three malpractice suits and losing my practice, and all that stuff, which wasn't any pleasant experience.

Charity: Correct.
